My evening skin care routine

My Skin:
With quite oily skin I find it hard to find the right type of skin-care that suits it without breaking me out. I have noticed that I've been getting quite dry areas such as around my nose and near my hairline. I also have quite spot-prone skin with, what feels like, massive pores and acne scarring from my teenage years. After searching high and low for a good - and inexpensive - night time skin-care routine, I think I've found one that works for me... *touches wood*.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
This is the first, and probably my favourite of all the products. It's very well-known within the blogosphere as being a great dupe for the Bioderma that is notoriously hard to get your hands on in the UK. At around 1/3 of the price this stuff is incredible. With an average price of around £5 for a 400ml bottle, a little of this goes a long way. I use this product first when taking off my make-up in the evening and find that it removes a great deal before the using the other products. I take two or three cotton pads and add some of the water, gently rub it around my face and all make-up comes straight off. It's scent free, and great for sensitive skin too. I'd highly recommend it.

L'Oréal Plenitude Re-Nourish Cleansing Milk:
Using this after the Micellar Water I take a squeeze of this on to one cotton pad and gently rub the milk between two pads. Then I just take them and rub it over my face and it gently removes all excess make-up that the Water missed. This leaves my skin so soft and creamy and really does nourish the dry patches on my skin and doesn't leave the rest of my skin oily or greasy. This product retails at about £4 but most of the time it's available on offer with the next product - I think I got both of them for about £5.

L'Oréal Paris Skin Perfection Velvety-Soft Toner:
I've been looking for a toner that doesn't totally dry out my skin and doesn't smell like straight spirit for such a long time - I think this is the one. Cheap, plenty of it, good quality and smells lovely  what more could you ask for? I take this on a cotton pad and rub this over my clean skin once the Cleansing Milk has sunk in. It leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh and ready for bed.

Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream:
This is the fail-safe cream I use on any spots or blemishes after I've finished with the toner. I apply a generous amount of this on my ring finger before dabbing it on to any problem areas. I leave the white cream on my face overnight and find that by morning it has been absorbed fully and any issues have disappeared/reduced significantly. Just a hint to you - if you put this on in the day time then please remember that it is there and definitely don't answer the door to a package with it still on your face and then wonder why he was looking at you strangely... D'oh!

So this is what is working for me at the moment, let me know what works for you and if any of this helps you?
