I've seen everyone and their grandmother do this 'tag' on the internet (everyone who is British that it...) over the past few weeks and so I thought - why not? It was originally created by Sammi,.aka Beautycrush, and I thought it was about time that I celebrated our little Isle.
1. How many cups of tea do you have a day & how many sugars?
It very much depends on the type of day/weather/mood - it has lots of variables. But on your average day about 2 or 3. The same thing happens with sugar, but my favourite kind of tea is with two (don't judge) sugars. I love a good cuppa!
2. What is your favourite part of a Sunday roast dinner?
The veg! I've actually not heard many people say that. But I'm obsessed with cabbage and kale, carrots, peas... ugh I need a roast now :( I love every part of a roast though really - apart from pigs in blankets, far too salty! *Side note* My mum makes the best roast potatoes/roast dinner in general.
3. What is your favourite dunking biscuit?
It's got to be a custard cream - the cheaper the better. I enjoy the challenge of getting it dunked and to my mouth without it falling to pieces. Yes, I know... I need to get a life!
4. What is your favourite quintessentially British pastime?
There's a few so get comfortable. I love a good old moan. I love people watching, especially old men - really old because they melt my heart. Going for winter walks is always pretty high on my list of things to do. Okay, so there weren't as many as I'd anticipated. How awkward. OH talking of that. I love sarcasm - British sarcasm is something that is just hilarious and gah - that's my favourite for sure!
5. What's your favourite word?
(I did just google British words for this) "Buggered" is by far my favourite word. I use all the time when I'm on the cusp of swearing and with my accent really pronouncing the "R" it's even funnier.
6. Do you know any cockney rhyme slang?
My knowledge on this is extremely limited. I think I could stretch to "Up the apple's and pear's" for stairs, and "Dog and bone" for phone. That's about all I've got.
7. What is your favourite sweet?

| EXHIBIT A. |
I just love them. When I was younger I'd go out with my friends and eat about four packets of them - one after another. I do have a massive sweet tooth though and so limiting myself in this way was a definite challenge.
8. What would your pub be called?
"The Regal Rose" - it's simple, to the point and doesn't sound like every other joe bloggs pub (aka 'The King's Head or the 'White Horse'
9.Who is your #1 British person?
Celebrity-wise it would have the be my Queen - more commonly known as Adele. Non celebrity-wise, it would have to be my Grandad - he's just the best (closely followed by my Nan)!
10. What's your favourite shop?
I'm obsessed with the quaint little home-ware shops that you find on a whim and can't resist buying something lovely - and usually unnecessary - to fill a little space in your house that you didn't know was there until then.
11. What British song pops into your head?
'Hey Jude' by The Beatles. I actually love The Beatles and this is such a great one to just belt out every now and again when the mood is right - or even when it isn't.
12. Do you like Marmite?
No (not even dignifying that with an explanation).
I anyone who wants to do this. If you do it, or have done it - leave a comment with a link and I'd love to have a look at it! xxx
