Motivation and waffles.

I move to university in twelve days and I need to get organised. Although the majority of items that have been purchased are in boxes, my clothes, makeup and personal things haven’t been. I also need to wash all of my kitchen things and buy the last few bits and bobs. I seem very organised – too organised, but it’s because of my Mum that I am this prepared!

My last week I want to spend as much time as possible with my family and friends, without the hassle of doing it all last minute and getting stressed. Everyone is asking me how I feel about everything, and they seem genuinely surprised when I say that I can’t wait. I’m finally ready to spread my wings and start the next phase of life.

Of course I’ll miss my family/friends etc, but they’ll always be close to me and they’re only ever a phone-call away. I feel like I’ve achieved everything that I can living here and that by moving on I’ll be able to continue to grow and find out just exactly what my life is going to have in store for me. Besides, I’ll never really leave my hometown, it will always be home and of course, where my heart is.

Well that’s a lot of waffle… This is just to keep me motivated to actually do something with my last two weeks rather than letting them pass me by!
