The perfect summer Red

I always adore having a red nail polish on, it makes my hands look a lot more dressy and classy. In the A/W I love having a deep, deep red. But come summer I like to have the classic red that isn't too much for the easy-breezy summer days. Woah, I feel like I just said "red" about 10 million times - I'll try to control myself for here on out.

So this colour, "St James" from Nails inc, London has been in my collection for a while - I think it came free with a magazine. I've not worn it too often, just because I often wear a lot of pinky shades and so it wouldn't mix too well. However, over the past few weeks I've noticed everything has gotten a bit more neutral within my wardrobe and so I took the plunge.

One coat of this polish would be enough as it has a good pigmentation to it; for durability though I applied another coat. The brush itself was really easy to use, and even with such a big lid there was minimal difficulty. I've had it on for a few days now, although it needed a few touch ups here and there, it has done me proud.

I would certainly recommend Nails inc polishes, and will be investing in more colours to add to my, already extensive, collection.

What's your favourite red nail polish for the summer?
